Colorado Harvest Company, a cannabis production and retail company, donated $100,000 last year to the Levitt Pavilion in Ruby Hill Park. Being a founding sponsor and continued supporter of the outdoor performance venue has earned them a Colorado Business for the Arts award.

CBCA’s business for the arts awards are presented to exemplary organizations that have gone above and beyond to support the arts and creative industries.

“We were looking for some way to give back to the community,” Tim Cullen, CEO, says. “We really feel indebted to that community and wanted to be a part of that, so we became part of the family at Levitt Pavilion. It’s a win for the community, it’s a win for Levitt Pavilion, it’s a win for Denver, and it’s certainly a win for Colorado Harvest Company and Openvape. “

The outdoor amphitheater features lawn seating, state of the art lighting and sound, easy access from bike paths and public transportation, local food vendors and a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Last year, Levitt Pavilion hosted more than 50 free concerts for the community, as well as ticketed concerts. The concerts span a wide range in musical genres including R&B, country, rock, Latin, blues, jazz and children’s. Performances also include dance and aerial arts and the amphitheater also participates in a number of community programs.
