About Our Clones

Our clones are grown in-house at Colorado Harvest Company. Each week, our growers hand-select the healthiest cuts to ensure customers take home vigorous, pest-free, and thriving plants.

With genetics sourced from commercially proven mother stock, our clones are bred for terps, consistency, and yield. To ensure success, each clone is already transplanted into a 3.5-inch pot, giving it a strong foundation for continued growth.

Guide To Proper Clone Care

The guide below provides essential steps and tips for caring for your new clone, helping it transition and thrive in its new environment.

1. Prepare Your Grow Area: Have your grow space ready before bringing your clone home. Keep temperatures around 72-80°F with moderate humidity (50-65%). Choose a spot with good airflow and make sure your pots, trays, and tools are clean.

2. Pot Size: Clones are already transplanted into 3.5" pots. They can remain in these for a short time while they establish, but will need to be moved into a larger container (1–3 gallons or more) within 1-3 weeks, depending on how quickly roots fill the pot.

3. Transplanting: Within 1-3 weeks, your clone will outgrow its 3.5" pot. Transplant into a larger container once roots are visible around the edges or bottom.

How to Transplant:

  • Water lightly before transplanting.
  • Fill new pot about ⅓ full with fresh soil or coco/perlite mix.
  • Gently remove the root ball and place it in the center.
  • Fill around with medium, press lightly, and water thoroughly.

4. Watering: Overwatering is the most common mistake. Water thoroughly so that about 20% drains from the bottom, then allow the soil to dry before watering again. Check the weight of the pot to gauge dryness. Use plain, pH-balanced water (5.8–6.5) between feedings. Start with light nutrients (¼–½ strength) once or twice a week.

5. Lighting: Clones are accustomed to gentle light.

  • Outdoors: Start in partial shade or indirect sun for a few days, then move to full sun.
  • Indoors: Begin with lights hung higher or dimmed, then gradually increase intensity as the plant adjusts.

6. Monitoring: It’s normal for clones to droop slightly in the first couple of days while they adjust. Within 1-2 weeks, roots should be established and growth will accelerate. Keep an eye out for pests and always maintain clean conditions around your plants.
